Life

This refreshed site has been up for a few months now and I've been trying to keep up on the posts for this site as well as over on The Spicy IT. Between the two, plus actual work, finding writing time is the real bottleneck these days.

It has also been a busy last couple of months as we have been moving offices, setting up my new office and putting up new cameras, negotiating old contracts and other day-to-day stuff at work.

Work / Infrastructure

  • Tinkering with Wisenet Wave.
  • Still tightening wireless deployments, and reducing “mystery outages.”
  • Setting up an Asset Borrowing station that people can just walk up to.
  • Hired a new staff person in the IT department as a support person.

Homelab

Haven't done much in the Homelab side of things. I want to start tinkering with Home Assistant soon so I can consolidate all my "smart devices".
